INGREDIENTS

1: Raw rice 2 cup ( soak at least 4 hour)
2: jaggery 350 g
3: water 3/4 cup
4: salt 2 pinch
5: cardamom 3 nos
6: ghee 1 tsp
7: maida 1 tbsp
8: sesame seed 1/2 tsp
9: coconut oil

METHOD

1: Wash and soak raw rice at least 4 hours.after that drain it and set aside.

2: Make jaggery syrup by adding 3/4 cup water and strain.allow to cool.

3: After that blend along with rice,salt,cardamom,maida and ghee. 

4: The consistency of the batter should be thick( little loose than idli batter)

 5: Add sesame seeds and mix well.keep the batter over night( at least 8 hours)

 6: After that check the consistency ,mix well 

7: Heat oil in a kadai and pour batter and deep fry until golden brown colour. 

now our authentic kerala style neyyappam is ready to serve..
